  • What do small groups look like?

    Small groups at Valley Rise Church take on many different forms! We have groups for every interest, and if we don’t have it, you can create it! A small group is simply a group of people getting together to share common interests, encourage each other, and pray for one another.

  • When do small groups meet?

    We have three small group semesters throughout the year: Spring, Summer, and Fall. Most groups meet once a week for the entire semester, but your group can decide to meet however and whenever they want to! If there’s a group you want to get involved in, but you’re not sure if you can meet with them every time, join anyway! It’s worth it for the lifelong relationships that you’re going to build!

  • Where do small groups meet?

    Where the small groups meet is completely up to your group and leader! Your small group might be at someone’s house, at a favorite restaurant, or even at a community park. Every small group is different, so be sure to check your group details for the specific location.

  • What if I want to join more than one group?

    The more relationships the better! If you have time to be in more than one small group in the same semester, we highly encourage it. If you feel like that would be taking on too much, you can always change groups in between semesters! We also know that not every small group is a great fit, so keep in mind you can always switch. At Valley Rise, the most important thing to us is that you’re jumping in and building life giving relationships!

  • Will child care be provided?

    Every small group is different, and some groups provide child care while others don’t. Be sure to check out the small group page when you’re signing up to see if child care is provided for that particular group.
